There is currently a problem regarding unscrupulous suppliers who are neither charging the levy nor providing a deposit and refund scheme. This results in reduced funding to IFFPG for the recycling of silage plastic, as well as undermining legitimate suppliers who are charging the levy.

To overcome this, IFFPG working in co-operation with its members, introduced a Labelling Tracking System. This code tracking system allows Local Authority Enforcement Officers to identify and, if necessary, prosecute suppliers who are not charging the levy. Extra text here.
